Visiting old friend

I think it is almost a year since I last been there. Been planning to visit her grave since last year, and finally, this year I manage to do just that. Yes, been busy with tons of work, piling up everyday. Just when you complete 1 task u get another 2. Anyway, went there with Rizal, my brother, driving. We started from KK at about 8:30 in the morning and we drive slowly to Lahad Datu. We made a few stop, one of them is my office. We’re still on Chinese New Year leave you see and a contractor called me up telling me that there’s a meeting on Valentine’s day. I have to stop by to check my fax machine. The paper on the fax machine was jammed so I let it print out first and have a look at it when I get back, So we journey on. We stopped at Ranau to have our lunch, stopped at Telupid to change driver and lastly we stopped at Kampung Paris III to relieved our self and have a drink. We arrive at Lahad Datu and went straight to Erlinna’s grave.

Finding her grave was not so difficult, I remember I have to walk about 30 metres from the entrance, and she was laid next to her great grandfather. She have two new tombstone, engraved with her name, date of birth and demise, while the other engraved “Ampunilah dosanya, ….. (I cant remember the rest).

I stop over to meet Arwah’s mom at their new home. Its seems that they were wondering if I have forgotten about them. Arwah’s little brother obviously have forgotten who am I, but he do remember his favourite drink, Vitagen, which I stop by to buy at a supermarket right after I visited Arwah’s grave. We talked about old time, what’s the family have been doing, basically catching up for that one missing year. Arwah’s mom did mentioned to me that I can stay overnight at their house if I ever come down to Lahad Datu. The invitation also extended to Arwah’s friend. So what say you? Want to come down to Lahad Datu with me? Just give me a call a drop a message, we try to find a suitable date to go there.

We head home at about 8pm and we drive slow. We arrived safely at KK at about 3 in the morning.
