Jungle in the city

I found a new eating place on Sunday somewhere at Alam Mesra. I was on my way to a friend’s house at Taman Bukit Sepanggar and stop by there because it was still early. I was supposed to be at his house at about 5 pm and its still 4pm, plus I’m hungry.

Cruising around Alam Mesra shop lot, I found this place called The Jungle In The City Restaurant. It has a nice soothing natural decoration so I thought to myself, maybe I check out this place.

The interior wall was covered with plastic bamboo, giving it the all natural look. It’s something different from the other eating place I have been to.

Now let’s talk about the food. I ordered myself mixed grill, fried ice cream and cold Nescafe. Man, the mixed grill was huge to my standard at least, it’s about five E71 placed side by side. Such a big portion. The taste? Loved it very much, very JUICY! When I say mixed, you’ll have beef, lamb, chicken and sausage; some fries on it sides. Although it’s a Western food, the grilled chicken was mixed with ginger, which makes it taste good.

Then there’s this fried Ice Cream. Vanilla ice cream with a thin layer of flour flour I guess covering the ice cream inside. I was really full that day.

If you guys want to try something new, this place is worth trying.
