The Secret of Beedle The Bard?

Tales of Beedle The Bard and The Secrets

I did mention on my previous post that Iā€™m going to start reading again this year, so I got myself two books yesterday, The Tales of Beedle The Bard by J. K. Rowling and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

Yes, Iā€™m a Potterphiliac, the moment I knew from Azlinaā€™s blog that the book was out, I practically jumped off my seats. Itā€™s already here! Should have checked MuggleNet more frequently. Oh did you know that MuggleNet have their own online community going on? Just like the Facebook I reckoned. Anyway, to those Muggle out there, this book is somewhat similar to Fairy Tales story to us Muggle; this book is for the Wizarding world. One of the fairy tales was mentioned in The Deadly Hallows. This book had J. K. Rowlingā€™s very own hand drawn illustration. I havenā€™t started reading it just yet, but I do know this, it was published in support of Childrenā€™s High Level Group (CHGL) charity which was set up in 2005. I know Iā€™m going to love this book. When you already immersed in Harry Potterā€™s series, who doesnā€™t?

I have a lot of good comment from a few friends whom have read The Secrets; they say itā€™s very inspiring. I need to get inspired myself. I took a peek and it is really good book to read. But I think Iā€™ll finish my Potter book first.

I know I can get Beedle The Bard at Times Bookstore but Iā€™m not to sure about The Secret. I remember last year when everyone want to buy the book. It was sold out fast. Since Iā€™m getting a book there I might as well check if they have it. If its not there then Iā€™ll have to try and get it at Amazon.com. To my surprise, they have a few copies in the store. I instantly grab it. But I canā€™t seem to find The Golden Compass series. Should have bought last year when I saw the Trilogy at Times. Worst come to worst, Iā€™ll get it from Amazon.

if u r a sucker (pardon the lang..hehe) for children’s book, i would highly suggest u to read the tale of despereaux by kate dicamillo with all four books inside. Times should have them. n the movie hits cinema in march.

“being the story of a mouse, a princess, some soup and a spool of thread…”
