What is your backup plan?
We get our first job and first pay, fall in love then get married. After that we bought our first home, have children and see them grow. Then when they reach adulthood, they leave our home lead their own life, for which the cycle start again. But we will grow old to enjoy the rest of our life before we meet our maker. That’s what normal life would be. A perfect life. We came prepared for all the joy of life can give.
But not everything run smoothly, because life calamity that might happen unexpectedly. Are we prepared for when we come down with sickness. If you notice, medical bill are in the rise nowadays. What about if we get involve into an accident? Can we or our family member survive if we are paralyse or worst, dead? Is our savings enough to cover such event? If we have any savings at all.
So. What is your back up plan?
Only when i have a child that i starts to realize the importance of savings.
Well, you still have about 17-18 years before she pursuit for her tertiary education 😀
