My Unit Trust Investment as of 3rd April 2020

So what happened last week?

Nothing much I guess, other than husbands wearing their wife’s “baju kelawar”, Malaysian finding creative ways to pass their time at home and turning PM’s speech into a beat. Someone actually makes a TikTok video out of it. And this was mentioned by the PM in his address early this week.

Internationally, the number of COVID-19 cases has risen with the United States leading the pack. I’m seeing somebody posting that Malaysia was praised for acting quickly to mitigate the situation. I’m seeing a few graphs showing how Malaysia’s curve has flattened. But the Ministry of Health will advise us whether we need to extend the Movement Restriction Order. Let us all pray that this will pass sooner.

This week is my planned portfolio rebalancing where I will take look at how’s my investment doing. I’m switching my equity and bond ratio from 40:60 to 60:40 because most of my equity holding is at a low price.

How did I do last week?

DateTotal Gain or LossEquity HoldingBond Holding

27 March 20200.01%40%60%

My investment value is up to 0.40% as compared to 0.01% last week. If I didn’t do portfolio rebalancing, my investment value would be at -4.73%. How is your investment doing?
