Before I continue, I just found a minor mistake on my data, which I forgot to change, making some of my reading went off course since 10 July 2020. It has been corrected. Now onward to my portfolio performance.

My unit trust investment value is 21.42% as compared to 20.96% last week. If I didn’t do portfolio rebalancing, my investment value would be at 25.42%.

My local fund value went up last week due to renewed interest in the healthcare sector amid rising Covid-19 cases in the region. The FBM KLCI index close at 1,577 points, 12 points up than last week. My foreign fund also shows a decrease in value, generally amid concerns over the resurgence of Covid-19.

I’ll keep monitoring my unit trust investment weekly until my next scheduled portfolio rebalancing. It is hard to predict the market movement, that’s why you need to keep your emotion out of investing and rebalance your portfolio regularly.

How is your investment doing?
